Something’s wrong with it
Six symptoms cover most of what goes wrong indoors. Pick the one you can see, then the plant, and you get the ranked causes, the test that tells them apart, and the steps for this week.
Symptoms
yellow leaves
The most reported symptom and the least specific one. Usually water — but overwatering and underwatering look the same from above.
brown leaf tips
Almost always the air or the water rather than the roots: dry rooms, hard tap water, or a schedule that swings.
drooping
A thirsty plant and a rotting one droop identically. The soil, not the leaves, tells you which.
dropping leaves
Plants shed to save themselves. Sudden loss follows a change — a move, a cold night, a missed fortnight.
root rot
The one that actually kills. By the time it shows above the soil you are working against a clock.
not growing
Not always a problem. Dormancy, a spent rootball and too little light look the same and want opposite fixes.
The per-plant pages are being written. In the meantime, the app will look at a photo and tell you directly.
Stop looking up the same plant twice.
MyGarden remembers your plants— the pot, the spot, the last watering — and tells you what needs doing today. Photograph a sad leaf and it reads it against that plant’s own history.
